Limbo – New 2021 Movie Recommendation

Summary of the post

The following summary includes the list of the topics we will cover in our post related to “Limbo”.

Limbo – Introduction

Nominated as “Outstanding British Film of the Year” in 2021 at the BAFTA Film Awards, we think that “Limbo” deserves your attention. Produced in 2020, it was released in 2021 due to the COVID pandemic.

Debuting director Ben Sharrock spent years studying Arabic and politics and lived in Damascus to look for his degree until the break-out of the civil war in 2021. He witnessed the atrocity of war and the brutal sufferance of people.

Immigration is a serious issue, and migrants are the saddest part of the story. Not all of us are lucky enough to live in ‘rich’ countries and have peace. But we should all do a little more to help those with fewer opportunities because we are members of the same species.
